Fast Bees Track began in 2005 with a simple idea: kids should have a place where they can learn to run, stay active and, most importantly, have fun. That belief inspired our original motto, “Run for Fun,” and it continues to guide everything we do today.

What began with just a few children has grown into a special Sunday tradition for thousands of local families. “Sundays Are for Running” reflects what Fast Bees has become, a place where children build skills, friendships and memories season after season.

​

Fast Bees is a structured youth track and field program for children in Pre-K through 6th grade. We welcome participants of all experience and ability levels, from children stepping onto the track for the first time to returning Fast Bees who have grown up with the program. Our knowledgeable volunteer team brings experience in track and field and other sports, along with a shared commitment to teaching and encouraging young athletes.

We offer three seasons each year:
    🐝 Fall and Spring: Our outdoor seasons allow participants to experience a greater variety of running activities and track and field events.
    🐝 Winter: Our indoor season offers a smaller-group environment with more individualized attention.

 

Participants practice many of the same foundational skills they will use during our outdoor seasons.
No matter the season, we pride ourselves on creating an inclusive, positive and noncompetitive environment where children have fun while learning. Our activities are designed to help participants develop proper running techniques, coordination, agility, teamwork and sportsmanship.

By the end of each season, our goal is for every Fast Bee to leave with new skills, greater confidence and a stronger belief in what they can do. The foundation they build can help them pursue running as a sport of its own while also developing skills that benefit them in many other sports and activities.
